Using these tools on your phone

What usually works in a mobile browser, and what to try if the page gives up.

Keep it small

Phones can do this, but they get warm and they have less spare memory than a laptop. Use a tighter crop. Prefer a short voice note to a long video file.

Stay on the page until it finishes. Switching apps mid-way can cancel the work.

What to try first

Background cutout on a portrait, speech-to-text on a short memo, and “what is this photo?” are the jobs that usually complete. Asking questions about a full document photo is happier on a computer.

Close extra tabs. One tool at a time.
